The easiest way to support different ministries at Del Cerro is by using Scrip. It cost neither you nor the church anything, yet the various corporations that offer scrip will donate a percentage back to Del Cerro. You can purchase, groceries, clothing, gas, take-out food, dining out food etc. To see a complete list of scrip available, see Barb Rost or go to the official Scrip website.
Here are many reasons why scrip is one of the best fundraisers...
- You're donating funds back to the church while buying your usual groceries, gifts or other purchases.
- It is a great way to give gifts to out of town family and friends
- Many non-profit organizations will accept gift certificates and gift cards rather than money. In donating that way, two organizations benefit; the one that receives the scrip and the church when bought through our program.
There are many stores that do not offer scrip, but they are part of escrip. In this case, you register your store card or your debit/credit card and each time it is used in their store, they send money to the church. Stores such as Vons/Safeway, Macy's, Eddie Bauer, Coco's Bakery Restaurant all are part of escrip.
