About Children's Programs |
|
G-Force |
This is the name of our new and exciting Sunday School program for 1st though 5th graders. The children meet together in a large group at the beginning and end of each session, while breaking into smaller age-based Bible study groups in between. G-Force blends fun and high energy worship and activities with solid Bible teaching and personal application. |
| Children’s Worship |
We use PraiseKid curriculum, which is designed to lead children from 1st through 4th grade to encounter God through worship and transition from a separate children’s worship setting into worship with adults. Children this age will sit with their parents during the first part of the worship service in the Sanctuary and then come to Children’s Worship during the sermon. Through singing, dramatic presentation, and Bible study, children will learn that worship is not only an action, but an attitude. |
| Children’s Choir |
Children's choir meets on Wednesday nights to praise the Lord in song as well as learn basic music reading and performance skills. The children enjoy performing in Balboa Park each year as part of The Christmas Story Tree. Younger Children’s Choir is for children from Kindergarten through 3 rd grade, and Older Choir is for children from 4 th through 6 th grade. |

| GA's |
GA’s stands for “Girl’s in Action,” a missions program for girls from 1st through 6th grade, which meets once a month for 3 hours of study and one hour of fellowship and lunch, so that the girls have enough time to do in depth missions projects, make crafts, and play games as they study about missionaries all around the world and earn badges and charms. Lunch is in Fellowship Hall from 11:45 – 12:45 pm and only costs $1. After lunch, the girls meet in room 203 from 12:45 – 3:45 pm for their missions study. |
